పశ్చిమాసియా యుద్ధం ప్రపంచ దేశాల ముఖ చిత్రాన్ని మార్చేశాయి. యుద్ధం కారణంగా చమురు, గ్యాస్ సంక్షోభం తలెత్తింది. దీంతో పలు దేశాల్లో ఆర్థిక ఇబ్బందులు నెలకొన్నాయి. అయితే ఇన్ని ఇబ్బందులు వచ్చినా భారత ప్రభుత్వం ధరలు పెంచకుండా నెట్టికొచ్చింది. అయితే ఇప్పుడు పరిస్థితులు మారాయి. కాల్పుల విరమణ ఒప్పందం ఉన్నప్పటికీ మధ్యప్రాచ్యంలో పరిస్థితులు నార్మల్ స్థితికి రాలేదు. దీంతో ముడి చమురు ధరలు భారీగా పెరిగిపోయాయి. నిల్వలు కూడా భారీగా తగ్గిపోయాయి. దీంతో ఆయిల్ సంస్థలు రోజుకి వెయ్యి కోట్లు నష్టాలు చూస్తున్నాయి. ఇప్పటికే లక్షల కోట్లు నష్టపోయాయాయి.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఆదివారం హైదరాబాద్ వేదికగా దేశ ప్రజలు పొదుపు మంత్రాన్ని పాటించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. తాజాగా గుజరాత్లోని వడోదరలో పర్యటిస్తున్న మోడీ మరోసారి దేశ ప్రజలకు కీలక విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ‘‘వంట నూనెను మితంగా వాడండి. వర్క్ ఫ్రమ్ హోమ్కు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలి. మనం మన విదేశీ మారక నిల్వలను కాపాడుకోవాలి. మన అవసరాల్లో ముడి చమురు ఒక ముఖ్యమైన భాగం. చమురు వాడకాన్ని వీలైనంత వరకు తగ్గించాలి. పశ్చిమాసియా యుద్ధ ప్రభావాల నుంచి దేశాన్ని కాపాడాలి. పాఠశాలల్లో ఆన్లైన్ విద్యను ప్రోత్సహించండి. 24 గంటల్లో రెండోసారి బంగారం తక్కువగా కొనాలని.’’ దేశ ప్రజలకు ప్రధాని మోడీ విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ఇక మోడీకి సర్దార్ ధామ్ సర్దార్ గౌరవ్ రత్న పురస్కారాన్ని ప్రదానం చేశారు.
